Infectious Disease Research Training Program (IDRTP)
The IDRTP is a KEMRI and UCSF joint effort to combat the sexually transmitted infection (STI) epidemic in Kenya and the region by training Kenyan masters and doctoral students to perform epidemiological, clinical and basic science STI research.
IDRTP selects scholars from KEMRI’s Institute of Tropical Medicine and Infectious Diseases (ITROMID) program to participate in either the Major or Short-term Pathway, with both pathways including a Clinical Epidemiology Track and a Basic Science Track.
