New Collaborative Projects
  
  • The Centre is collaborating with WHO / TDR in building capacity to become one of the reference African phytochemical and anti-malarial screening centre for natural products.
  • The Centre is collaborating with WHO / AFRO in the documentation of the medicinal plants and traditional medicine used for malaria.
  • The Centre is also collaborating with Wellcome Trust Laboratories in a project on understanding of the mechanism of resistance of malaria parasites on some conventional anti-malarial drugs.
  • The Centre is collaborating with Kagoshima University, Center for chronic viral Diseases, Japan.
  • The Centre is collaborating with University of Nairobi, Kenya Agricultural Research Institute and Kenya Industrial Research Development Institute under Kenya Agricultural Productivity Project.
  • The Centre is collaborating with Makerere University, Maseno University, and University of Dar es Salaam under VicRes (Lake Victoria Research Initiative)
