CPHR has over the years built institutional capacity to manage both small and large database using relational database management systems (RDMS). The services are offered by the Biostatistics and Bioinformatics and Computing Research Unit. With close to 10 regular data entry persons, 2 data managers and 5 statisticians, the unit offers the following but not limited to:-

• Design of research surveys (in-country and multi-country studies)
• Design of databases using relational database management systems (RDMS)
• Data management (data entry, validation and compilation of database)
• Data analysis
• Geographical information system (GIS)
• Training in data analysis (SPSS, STAT) and management
• In-service induction courses for data personnel
