cphr6The food handler program is a service offered CPHR to hotels, restaurants and food processors in selected cities in Kenya. The service involves certification of all people who directly handle foodstuff (preparation, serving or packing) in hotels and food-based industries that they are free from any food borne diseases thus minimizing risks associated with food contamination. All establishments are given official medical certificates issued by KEMRI.

 

 

 

cphr7A team of technologists usually travels to the client’s establishment / site and collects samples for laboratory investigations. Official certificates are delivered back to the client. In the coastal area, a CPHR field office is located in Malindi District. For areas in South and North Rift, Central parts of Kenya and Eastern regions are served by the Nairobi office.
