Experts call for regional policy consideration on Tuberculosis laboratory diagnosis

East African countries are likely to adopt changes in Tuberculosis laboratory diagnosis and treatment of Malaria and Antibiotics use for diarrhea diseases following findings of a four year regional research project in the three diseases.

Lack of effective HIV diagnosis has grossly hampered the fight against HIV, the World Health Organization (WHO) has said.

Consequently, as the World Aids Day is observed today, the WHO, has released new guidelines on HIV self-testing aimed at improving access to and uptake of HIV diagnosis

In a special report released Tuesday, 29th November, 2016, reveals that more than 18 million people with HIV are currently taking ART
