The Kenya Medical Research Institute has donated eight automatic soap dispensers and hand sanitizers to Nairobi Primary School as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility activities with the aim to reduce risks of infectious diseases among pupils.

Approximately 1,800 pupils will benefit from the hand sanitizers mounted at strategic places like the washrooms and dining hall areas in a bid to enhance personal hygiene and general sanitation within the school environment.

Director KEMRI Dr. Yeri Kombe, and President of Oita University Prof. Segio Kitano, signs Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions.

In the agreement KEMRI & Oita staff and students will work together on research in Cancer starting with Stomach Cancer in Kenya.
